Pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 dated 30th June 2003, - Personal data protection code (hereafter, referred to as the “Code”), we take this opportunity to inform you that your personal data, which you have provided to our Institute when compiling this application (jointly, referred to as the “Personal Data”), will be processed, as referred to in Article 4, paragraph 1, sub-section a) of the Code (hereafter, the “Processing”), in accordance with above-mentioned legislation and in accordance with the confidentiality obligations which govern the activity of our Institute.
In particular, we wish to inform you that your personal data will be processed for the following purposes: booking visits and examinations at the Institute's facilities, telephone and/or e-mail contact for the purposes of confirming the activity requested. The Institute will also process sensitive personal data, as defined in Article 4, paragraph 1, sub-section d) of the Code, in order to be able to satisfy your request; the processing of sensitive personal data requires your consent, and if your consent is refused your request cannot be acted upon.
Providing the data is optional, but without such data our Institute will not be in a position to comply with your request. Your personal data will be processed using electronic tools and manually for the purposes indicated; your personal data will not be disseminated or communicated to third parties. Your data will only be processed for the time necessary to achieve the purposes specified above and if the booking is not confirmed your data will be deleted immediately from our database.
Our operators will recontact you by telephone or e-mail to confirm the booking, therefore, we ask you to provide a personal e-mail address that only you can access. However, when you are recontacted by telephone our operators will verify the identity of the data subject before releasing any information concerning the reason for the telephone call.
In relation to the processing of personal data the data subject is vested with the rights referred to in Article 7 of the Code, among these, we remind you of the following rights:
1. to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data exists, regardless of their being already recorded and communication of such data in an intelligible form;
2. to be informed:
a) of the source of the personal data,
b) of the purposes and the methods on which the data processing is based,
c) of the logic applied if the processing is performed with the support of electronic tools,
d) of the identifying details of the Data Controller, the Data Processors and the designated representative,
e) of the persons or the categories of persons to whom the personal data may be disclosed or who may become aware of the personal data as the designated representative in the territory of the State, as Data Processors or as Persons in charge of processing;
3. to obtain:
a) updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data,
b) erasure, anonymisation or blocking of data which have been processed unlawfully, including the data whose retention is unnecessary in relation to the purposes for which the data have been collected or subsequently processed,
c) certification to the effect that the operations referred to in sub-sections a) and b) have been notified, also in relation to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared to the right that is to be protected;
4. to object:
a) on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning the data subject, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection,
b) to the processing of personal data concerning the data subject where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct selling or for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
