In the heart of Milan’s historical centre, the Capitanio Hospital was established in 1950 by the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity, well known in the world as the “Holy Child Mary” Sisters. Since its origin, Capitanio Hospital has been synonymous of high quality care, famous physicians, privacy, comfort and particular attention to the patient and the patient’s psychophysical needs.

Up to now the Sisters continue to perform their pastoral and assistance activities in Capitanio Hospital. The Istituto Auxologico Italiano has managed this Hospital since 2011.
